First Partner Collection Frenzy – Kanto Starters are Taking Over the Market!

Remember how a month ago we mentioned the upcoming release of the First Partner Collection? Our predictions have just come true – the product is literally flying off the shelves, and social media platforms like Reddit are buzzing with collectors dreaming of getting their hands on a copy. Unfortunately, the massive demand has caused the market price to already reach double or even triple the MSRP.

First Partner Collection Frenzy – Kanto Starters are Taking Over the Market!

What’s Inside? The magic of this product lies in its contents. Each set contains two standard booster packs, but they aren't the main star. The key inclusion is the promo boosters, where you can find 3 out of 9 possible promo cards featuring starter Pokémon.

Kanto vs. The Rest of the World This is where the real excitement and price differences begin. Currently, the market is seeing an absolute dominance of Kanto region starters. If you're lucky enough to hit icons like Charmander or Bulbasaur, you can expect their value to be between $35 and $50 each.

In comparison, starters from other generations are performing a bit more modestly:

  • Kanto (Charmander, Bulbasaur): $35 – $50 USD.
  • Others (e.g., Litten, Rowlet): $15 – $20 USD.

If your goal is simply to collect cute Rowlets, you’re in much better luck and have a smaller expense ahead of you than fans hunting for the fiery dragon from Kanto. One thing is certain – the product is extremely hard to get, and the fight for the best promo cards is just heating up.
